Am I burnt out?

For those who have experienced burn out.. how do you know? It’s been one thing after the other lately in my life with my 2 (hospital admissions, meltdowns, panic attacks, school issues, multiple seizures) and I just feel depleted of everything 😪 I think I’m in burn out but don’t know what to do - there’s nothing I can even do to change it 🤷‍♀️ would love to hear others experiences..

I don’t have any pearls for you but so many of us have been there & understand how you may be feeling & send our heartfelt support . I have recently found a cos who has made a difference because she is doing a lot of the thinking & referring to services she relies on. In the past I have constantly sought& found & tried services that didn’t work out. With her experience she can pull from a pool of tried & trusted. Today I have the strength to do a prehospital admission with my boy, which previously would have been stressful, go to service NSW & probably Centrelink because I’m locked out of myGov. I need stuff for my new job! I could not have reached this point of strength & clarity without the support. My son has been extremely challenging and unfortunately we have not found many of the specialists etc helpful because they didn’t understand the behaviours. Pull from every corner, even if it’s someone dropping a couple of groceries. Utilise the funding to get a break where you can. I apologise as this is not meant as judgement because I don’t know all your circumstances. I’m sure you will get great info from this group.& I’ve learnt a lot from two peas in a podcast hangout as well. Wishing you a peaceful day.

I'm really sorry your feelings g so low atm it sounds like you have alot going on. Someone told me yesterday stop asking how do I do this but ask who can help me??? It was like a light bulb moment for me. Who can help you mentally? Who can help you practically? You don't have to do this alone. Reach out for help where you can xx

Make an appointment with your GP as a first step. Talk through with them how you’re feeling and make a plan.

I feel like burnout is different for everyone. Also if you are questioning it then you must be feeling it. I think it is very important to find something just for yourself as well amongst the chaos of life.
