How we have been implementing a sensory diet

A sensory diet can help regulate children through their day. It doesn’t look the same every day in our house. Today we tried jumping. Nothing too fancy, just some painters tape on the ground and asking the kiddos to jump between the lines. This activity is also beneficial because it’s working on gross motor activities like jumping with two feet that we have been working on with OT. I’m always looking for new sensory activities to try, drop any ideas below 🌼

My 8yo has a gym ball that he will either bounce or sit on. He also has a mini tramp inside that he can bounce on anytime

This is cool!! Immy is into anything slime 🙈 great for her, but messy for mum lol Any mess free slime ideas?! She’s also fascinated with sour tasting things. We’ve taught her how to juice a lemon, so she collects from our tree, cuts and juices (hard downward pressure on juicer cup to do that). Then she pours into ice cube trays or ice block moulds and freezes.
