How to get my child with sensory struggles to take a tablet?

Does anyone have any recommendations for getting kids to take fish oil? Currently we are pushing through but it’s a bit of a battle. I’ll be honest it’s not that pleasant to taste 😬

I don't but on iherb they sometimes have all different types of gummies? That may be an alternative if you already haven't tried?

unfortunately we have, we even tried the picky eater gummy lollies and he wouldn’t eat them, how ironic 😬😝

I can't have fish oil, but can use things like flaxseed and other as replacements. There may be an alternative out there that has limited smell or taste you could try.

just did a quick google. There are lots of alternatives. Some even saying that certain foods today are already fortified with omega 3 and fatty acids.

Can he swallow tablets/capsules? My son outright refused any liquid medications so we had to teach h to swallow a tablet. Once he got the hang of it he was just fine. (You can buy empty capsules to add supplements too that taste funky.)

We currently put all supplements in ice cream

Look at reviews of options on the iherb website, some reviews indicate flavour/odour and the shop ships to most countries. You can also try adding it to a strawberry banana smoothie or mango banana to disguise it.
