Looking after yourself when you have a child with a disability

I saw this picture of me from our getaway on the weekend and I thought 💭 ‘when was the last time I laughed like this with my whole face?!’ Like cheeks sore, wrinkles showing EVERYWHERE 😂, better run to the loo 🚽 laughter. These moments are so good for our soul. When was the last time you laughed like that? Or sat down and savoured every bite of a meal? Or listened to the birds with a cuppa? Or talked about things that set your soul alight? It’s so easy to forget to make time for these things, but they make the world of difference when we can include them in our daily lives. What could you include that will light you up today?

For me it was the November retreat. I had a photo captured of myself and it is by far my favourite photo.
