My daughters NDIS plan review is coming up, and we are currently self managed.. I am starting to prepare for my planning meeting, and I am wondering if anyone can point me to the best resources for what’s available through NDIS, so I can be sure to request what I can. The majority of her budget is under capacity building (Physio, OT, Speech) as due to her rare chromosomal diagnosis she has global development delay, with some capital support for AFO’s. Her therapists are all writing reports, so I am comfortable with the capacity building, but hoping for some guidance around what’s available under core support for more social and community participation, and support for us as a family (we have 2 other children), which we don’t have anything of at the moment. And what do I need to provide to have this kind of support included in her plan? Any tips or checklists would be most appreciated, thank you 😊
