Wins in the support unit
I fought so hard to keep my son in mainstream as I was so determined to fight for equality and inclusion- unfortunately the school he was at just simply didn’t get it. The main difference I have noticed is in a support unit they actually understand the need for a sensory diet and focusing on important things- he is doing so well this yr after massive anxiety over changing schools
How do they define a “sensory diet”? I’m interested in this!
So good to hear. My son is flourishing in his support unit too! The difference is amazing to see. I'm so so impressed and so glad I fought as hard as I did to get him what he required.
This is so great to hear, I had similar with my youngest , only he started support I transferred him into mainstream which he didn’t cope then back to support unit, and it can truly make the world of difference !! How good is this for your son xxx
