Kindship community

You were never meant to do this alone.

Community is in our DNA.

In our experience, raising children with disabilities can feel like riding a rollercoaster with the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. In those moments, it is community that gets us through. There is something so validating about connecting with other parents who can say, “I get it” and “you aren’t alone”. To have a space where you feel safe to be unapologetically yourself.

When we went looking for that community, we couldn’t find it. So, we built it. This is where Kindship started and where we are committed to reinvesting our energy because we know that empowered parenting and informed decision-making require a village. We also know that systems only change when there is a large number of people demanding it, and systems need to change.

Join the free Kindship Connect Facebook group and experience a solution-oriented, united community of parents who will happily catch your tears, pour your wine, share our ideas, shake our fists and, most importantly, see you and all that you do.

What our community members are saying.

Since being a part of Kindship I have gained friendships, a community to turn to when I need advice, knowledge or simply an ear to listen.

For me, Kindship is a haven—a place where I know that I truly belong. Here, I feel valued, empowered, supported, and inspired. It's where I know I can reach out and get genuine advice and guidance.

This beautiful, embracing, non-judgmental community of families has been life-changing for me. The love and empathy we all share is just magical.
