Food aversions and celebrating wins
Many people would look at this picture and think “she’s not using her knife and fork, clearly watching TV and there are no vegetables on her plate!”
But … she’s sitting at the table with me!! No coercing, willingly sat down and ate with me for 3 whole minutes!
She picked up the knife and fork and tried using them of her own accord.
She’s eating chicken that isn’t a nugget and doesn’t come from a box!! 🙌🏻
This mumma is doing happy dances around the dining table 😆
Just wanted to share these wins with my peeps who get it 🥰🧡
I looked and my first thought was that your flooring was nice. I am kinda in reno mode at home, so that’s not surprising. Then I tried to identify the pantry contents like a Where’s Wally challenge because every item was barely visible on my phone and I was born with poor eyesight and fantastic curiosity. Afterwards, my eyes dropped to the text of your post and I honestly didn’t spot the missing utensils so I clearly need more Where’s Wally item spotting practice. Looks like a success to me because I just see her eating and content. I have one kid that only eats raw carrots and the other will only eat mild salsa on corn chips. Sometimes it’s strange random things that pass the veg test, like frozen green beans eaten while frozen. Maybe the chicken not from a box is a sign of more good things to come. 🌟
Two things l noticed straight away. - The chicken 🙌 huge win as l remember you mentioned how she doesn’t like to steer away from her nuggets - The dog 🤣 Moby sits exactly like this watching Indy eat Huge wins. Go MUMMA, Go Immy ⭐️
